Mauna Lani Golf Course

The North Course, although a resort course, is excellent for tournament play. Built on an ancient lava flow it is characterized by rolling terrain and kiawe (mesquite forests). The South Course is built on the prehistoric Kaniku lava flow, geologically a relatively young flow. This course features Mauna Lani's signature 15th hole. The resort course snakes through stark, rugged lava. Volcano goddess Pele reigns supreme on this course. If she favors you, balls hit into the lava will miraculously bounce back into the fairway. The Beach course features numerous sand bunkers, brilliant water features and the most spectacular oceanfront par-five in Hawaii on the 502-yard, twelfth hole. This challenging yet scenic hole has lava throughout and runs along the Pacific Ocean along a point where views of breaching whales and vistas of the other Hawaiian Islands are not uncommon.
